Stationery & School Supplies Donation
Illumination Lanka responded to a potential crisis in education caused by skyrocketing prices in stationery items due to the economic crisis, by initiating a project to help underprivileged children. This investment in the future and promotion of education is being carried out by providing a complete set of books and stationery items for children from selected schools studying in various grades. Due to the low income status of the family, these underprivileged children face even more severedifficulties in accessing their educational necessities.
The 4th Stationery donation was held at Kaduwela. A full pack of school supplies including a DSI voucher worth Rs.4000 were donated to 50 underprivileged students of various grades.
The 3rd Stationery donation was held at Uduvila Primary School premises A full pack of school supplies including a pair of school shoes.
The 2nd Stationery donation was held at Sri Rankadu Paththini devalaya premises on the 29th of December 2022. A full pack of school supplies including a DSI voucher worth Rs.4000, a dry rations pack, Cash donation of Rs.5000 were donated to 50 underprivileged students of various grades.
The 1st Stationery donation was held at Gurukula Vidyalaya Kelaniya. A full pack of school supplies including A school bag, lunch box, water bottle, DSI voucher worth Rs.4000, were donated to 15 underprivileged students of grades 1-5.
